This one brings back memories from when I worked Lockheed/General Dynamics advanced design team...

Steps I used to create this quick setup rendering...
1. F-16C model downloaded from grabcad.
2. Changed pen color of fuselage to grey
3. Deep select the canopy surfaces and set material type to glass
4. Enabled ground shadows, denoiser, and use default HDR from photo render settings dialog
5. Googled an airport runway from Microsoft Flight Simulator and set as file background
6. Zoomed, panned, rotated view until wheels looked appropriate to runway background image
7. Rendered with halt time 10000

This was done with SharkCAD 14 build 1623. It needs some decals/tail number, color tweaks....to be done later.

Such images should be rendered in jpg. Microsoft Flight Simulator as background?
Nice that now glass can be rendered. This is new i guess. My Shark versions can't do glass.
I will watch in grabcad for this model :)

>>Microsoft Flight Simulator as background?
Further clarification, the background came from the MFS forum...

>>My Shark versions can't do glass.
The new rendering engine handles glass and metals very nicely.

I have an interest in racing boats, there was an offshore racer last century(!) that had side-by-side F16 canopies for driver and throttle person, used for field of view and optical clarity. I'd think they'd be mechanically strong too, no aero shock pressures for the boat, but those things occasionally flipped and the thought of a couple of tons of boat and engines smashing your head into the ocean at 160kph would terrify me.
