Antoine,

There are better tools available to build the part you are after however I cannot find them in VC. See attached for a Sweep 1 rail in Rhino

I am interested to know what you expect to see of your third option with the kink in the rail.....I think this is asking just a little too much:D

An option 'Perp to rail' should deal with it !?
