persistant perspective

I would like to be able to work in the perspective view most of the time. I am aware of the perspective toggle (bottom center of tool box) but that perspective view defaults to a distant camera with a long focal length (400) that looks almost like the isometric view. I can set the focal length (say 10) and check perspective and get the view that I am looking for, but if I attempt to rotate the view with the center mouse button, the view reverts to iso. Is there a way to maintain a persistent perspective view?

I see from looking at past posts on this forum that the perspective issue has been brought up here before, but I do not see a resolution. I would really appreciate confirmation that ViaCAD has only the limited perspective view capabilities that I described in my previous post or that there is a solution enabling persistent perspective that I am overlooking.

Working with perspective on is simply not possible with ViaShark. The future is anyway 3D Modeling in a VR-environment.
