Is it possible to reduce nodes/points to smooth curves for my plasma table in version 9.0.9?

What format are you exchanging? If it's .dxf, I think conversion to arc polyline might be available, but otherwise you might have to increase the resolution of the polyline equivalent. .dwg R14 has splines but I don't think VC gets curve output to sheet, upscale Shark mentions CATIA true curve licensing.

It is .dxf

I'll try to find more info about conversion to arc polyline and changing resolution. I'm new to viacad and not familiar with the majority of it. It's not like any cad system I've used before.

There are tools for adding or subtracting points on a spline.

Hello

I would recommend converting the multiline polylines to arcs before exporting. There is the tool in arc pallet to help "Arcs from Curves". Splines and multiline polylines do not cut well on CNC with all the stops and starts the arc tool will help. What is the geometry you are cutting?

Regards

Jason
