Hi,

I want to add a kind of random surface texture resembling small rocks or gravel to a given solid, like shown in this picture:

https://en.wiktionary.or...anite_gravel_texture.jpg

The exact details of the texture are not so important.

My current take would be to get hold of an STL model of a gravel surface, e.g. like so

https://www.cgtrader.com...tion/gravelcrushed-stone

then import, scale, cut it to size, and add it to the solid.

Is there any other way?

A manifold volume mesh solid or a CAD format solid like STEP or IGES?
