I'm building a model that has several separate parts, connected with screws. I want to model the holes for the screws, but rather than laying construction lines and doing them on each piece separately, I'd like to do it on one operation per hole. Is this possible, or do I need to do a set of holes for each piece that's mated together? Thanks!

You can use TRANSPARENCY to use the center of an object underneath, or place
the hole on the top piece, and keep selecting the center of the holes, and go
through multiple layers.

Not near a PC to confirm right now, but it should be possible to add the parts, locate / define the hole then split the part into it's components and retain association.
So I did get on to a PC and confirm this.
