Hello Tim,
you offer us the tool hole and screw symbols. (french only?)
Can you offer us, now, a real placement function pro parametric type (mechanical) of these screws?
for example using the hole axis and only the bearing surface of the screw, or ... the origin of the symbol as a reference.
Imagine ....: a metal with many holes ... hmm? :)
Please.

I got that library, but all the 3d screw and nuts are placed as a group of curves and lines, not solid Luis G.

You're right! Why? I have no answer!
When I need a fastener, I go to
http://www.mcmaster.com/ and I download the 3D SAT file. Every time it's perfect!

hello Tim, yes i'm try, but....it is verrrrry long and not productive for my opinion. 1,2,3,4,5 clics for each screws!!!!!! it's ok for simple and no more pieces, but in the case with ...40X screws, that's a hell. Antoine

I do the same, download from mcmaster or 3dcontencentral each time I need some, but is slow process and we should have a descent library for this parts, not mentioning some parametric function for it.

the 3d srews library is a French development. the ideal would be to make parametric! who can? with the new tools of constraints Antoine
