Hi Antoine I cannot get that to repeat (but see it in you video!) Can you send me the file you are dragging into, maybe its related. Tim

same bug happen to me, but some more issues, Open a file, grab a symbol from library, the opened file is closed and instead you have the symbol file open. then make a new untitled file, grab again the same symbol, and same thing happen, now you have just two open files whit the same name of the symbol file. The untiled file and the first opened file where closed. 966 build Luis G.

Hint: this happen when the file where the symbol is dropped doesn't contain any data to be saved, i mean, if you have any unsaved operation on the file, then the symbol it is placed the right way. So the bug must be regarded to the save file session. The same thing happen with drag and drop any file, not only the symbols Luis G.
