The old ones are the best ones !
I would love to see this one fixed ...
Steps to repeat ...
(Take an interpolate spline ... to which tangency has been applied to the endpoints)
- Adjust the end tangency of said Interpolate Spline
- Undo end tangency adjustment (Control Z on the Mac)
- Then ... Redo end tangency adjustment (Shift Control Z on the Mac)
Watch as your line end tangency reverts to zero ... taking down all driven geometry
Aghhh as Charlie Brown once said
Could somebody try this for me please ?
Thank you
Jol

There are several other cases where undo + redo don't work correctly and spoils the construction.
The most frequent for me is when deleting a round corner from a profile used for extrusion : undo fails and cannot redo...

Indeed JL - these issues seem fairly insignificant in themselves However, if your entire geometry is hanging off it ... ... It's time to reach for your backup

I did an undo not to long ago on a curve and all my solids disappeared. Note the curves I undid had nothing to do with any solid at the time. Tried to undo the undo and nothing happened/changed.

I am finding myself, on important stuff, or things that have had a lot of work done on, that I'm saving after every move or edit. Don't trust autosave :-)

Golly - thankfully I never had an issue with autosave ( ... at least not since getting an SSD as you don't then notice it happening) Save lots - that's a good rule ! So much so ... One small 2 day project this week has yielded 34 separate 'just in case' Shark files at 20-30Mb each I shouldn't have to do that ! Jol

Well true yes, especially when you try different things like having clear undo on save (in an effort to stop issues). But then when the undo doesn't work right, it's the lesser of two evils!

I think we all agree that there are issues with undo and redo Supplying clear repeatable steps to reproduce the problem is the only way the developers will look at these

This is true, but the times I do something, it doesn't work right. Close the program, open it try again it then works. Then you can repeat that and it doesn't work, just unstable.
