It also tells us that we can't export to Catia in Shark Pro, is this right? I thought we could, and I was aiming for that upgrade, for that reason?

There's export to CATIA 4 & 5 for whatever that's worth, no history so exports might as well be STEP. I went to FX/Pro for import, precise curves, capping and continuity options.

This is true, but stp license is another chunk of money for Catia.
After just renting my own license for just over 2 grand it's painful to get the add ons like stp. So it would be fine for scheming purposes,knock it up in Shark and export to Catia for viewing, but if the website isn't right then it's going to put people off.

I think that it's just phrased awkwardly, Inventor is import only and that's hung on the end of the list. But yeah, it's misleading and that sells the product short.

The transition to the new sites is still on going. The forum access is one thing that has been unintentionally left off and we are working to get that back up there.

Catia 4 and Catia 5 are still import/export options in the PC version, While just Catia 4 is available for the MAC versions. I will go over the new sites information and let the web guys know of any corrections that need to be made.
