I'm running VC 2d/3d V10 on a 2010 mac pro with 10.13 os, 3.2 6 core processor, 32gb ram, NVDIA GT 120 graphics. When I am working in VC and I move parts around, the motion is jerky. It's not smooth. What might be causing this?

Hi, When I open a model any bigger than a pea and I'm using my Intel built in graphics its jerky. So when I need to open big stuff I make sure it using the Nvidia card, and it's a lot better. Although I can't use the Nvidia all the time because drawings sketches with lines leaves a horrible trial across the screen of where my mouse has been, so makes it near impossible to figure out what line is the one I'm actually drawing! Is there a way to check whether your Nvidia card is being used? Or is that the only card you have?

I'm going to end up buying a new macbook and ditch the desktop. Thanks for your reply.
