Hi guy´s sorry for my english I´ll give my best :-)


I want to create a Solid from two polygons with different Z height wich I have created from arc & lines there
is no way to get an even distribution of the surface around the edges.
I tried several ways like changing the direction of the acrs and lines or convert arcs to beziers.
Also i tried to use differnt paramters to create the skin solid in the Options menue.

I have attched some images to show yo my problem.

This comes very close with elipytical Fillet, but how can i prevent the undersite edge to get rounded with.?

Press the option key (Mac) within the elliptical blend tool

Turn OFF 'automatic chaining' and select just the edge you want

Sorry Jol ... unchecking this option doesnt´t help.
I tried the variable blend linear funktion, but it doesnt´t follow the inner arc exactly .

The corners are looking good, but it seems that the surfaces along are concave or am I wrong ?

I need flat ( plain ) surfaces along the sides

Then - best way is to build all your surfaces manually as 4 sided patches, then stitch it together into a solid !

If I understood correctly, then for corners I would use a Skin Surface tool Arc to Point. Then stitching to solid.

Thing about geometry is - there are infinite possibilities !

You will likely have to try several approaches to get the answer you want

You could try the loft surface command with 0 bulge to give flat surfaces. In the corners, you need points however. so you loft between the curve and a point.

I got it now with the tip from digitalphaser, thats exactly the best result for me.
There are a lot of functions left, that I have to learn.
