I received a model with the view totally wrong, The front is the bottom, it is very confusing to deal with. How can you reset or fix the view so when I select TOP i see the TOP view?
I tried user views but I am hoping there is a better way to do this -

Hello machtool

Probably best to select object and use the rotate tool to re orient.

Thank you for that info, but i was hoping there is a better way to do this so you can easily come back to the same view and have the proper perspective

Hi Guest, I think you misunderstood jdi000 comments.

You physically select the whole model, and apply the Rotate tool to it in the X,Y,Z planes to put in your case the front (bottom) face of your model in the correct front plane.
If the model has the desired orientations in say an isometric view, and the file saved, next time you open it, it will be as is, and all the Views will correspond and be labelled as to how you are used to seeing them.

This is quite normal, and is used quite a bit when importing other file formats, or files from other people.

There are 2 points here

1 the model is in wrong orientation. You would need to fix by using rotate tools

2 you can create user planes and views in the file to recall and use any time.
