Are we supposed to be able to fillet a polygon? I thought so but cannot.

I do not think any Poly line or whatever can be edited. But I am so new to ViaCAD there might be a work around.

Thanks,

I think I was just lazy. I just opened up Shark FX 9 and you can fillet a polygon. In the current version you have to convert it to lines first. edit/change object type/lines
So, I assume it is a bug or a really lousy new feature.

HI Art

The Smart Polygon is not recognized by the fillet tool. The shape is defined by the polygon parameters.

However, Single Line Polygons can be filleted since there are no parameters (just a collection of lines).

We should probably ask the user if they want to explode the Smart Polygon to lines when requesting to Fillet.

Thanks Tim,

That makes sense.

And I have to admit that I have a vague memory of Todd telling me the very same thing.

Thanks Much,
