Might be a Mac issue, works O.K. on Win 10 PC Shark FX9 1216. Larry

OK, now I am on 10.12.5 on a Mac and Shark Pro 10 1335 and I still cannot extrude a polygon (7 months later). The manual does not mention extruding a polygon. Is this something broken or deliberate? Thanks, Art

Seems ok on Windows. What is the polygon? Can you attach a sample file with one in it.
Regards
Jason

Well, Not much to it, just a rectangle. In order to extrude a surface I have to change it to lines, which works, it extrudes like a polygon, it just seems silly.

If you 'Select All' and 'Extrude', nothing seems to happen, hit 'Enter' and it extrudes. Larry

Sorry, I do not know how to do that. Where is "extrude"? So are you saying that it works? Do I have to hide everything else?
I am using the "extrude surface tool", the extrude solid works fine.
Thanks,
Art

Hello Art I am unable to repeat on Mac or Win. When using the Extrude Solid :Vector option, does the polygon turn red when selected? Tim

Yes, the extrude solid works perfectly.
The "Extrude Surface" does not allow selection.
Art
Is there anything you want me to send you? It happens on every file, and has for over 7 months.

Repeated, found and fixed. I was not checking the correct tool!
