Hello,

I currently use ViaCAD V9 and am unable to edit an extruded solid without a "Regen" error. For instance, if I want to extend a line, it shows an error.

Due to this limited editing with ViaCAD, I am thinking about upgrading to Shark LT. Does Shark LT allow for sketch constraints, which would allow for easy 3D model editing? If not, does Shark LT have the capability for advanced 3D model editing?

Perhaps if you post a screen shot of what you are trying to do.
The guys here might be able to give you some advice.
To me it sounds like you maybe missing a technique or something, spending the extra money probably wont change things.

Hi together,

this message appears sometimes to me too. And I have no idea what it means because "regen" seams not translatable to German. But it is a german verb and means "to move something a little bit" (like open the eyes when awake, a sign of still alive).

i think, a "regen" error means a regeneration error. perhaps the objects have associative links to other objects and could not be updated
