If anyone is interested, I have a procedure for generating a constant wall thickness from a complex surface. I've had trouble with the thicken solid tool when working with very complex surfaces.

See the jpg attached.

Let me know if anyone wants to see a detailed description and videos for this procedure.

Thanks Horst, I'm surprised there were not more members interested in making surfaces for molding in plastic. However, I've put this all together so will enter it here, attached.

This is a lengthy tutorial with many tricks; mine may not be the most efficient, kindly let me know if you have more direct methods.

Tim, several months ago you suggested that maybe some of these procedures could be simplified, maybe in a macro?

If I see it right, I don't need it instandly, because my playlist is very long .... at the moment I try out Rail Sweep Surfaces and that get me a great number of possibilities to realize future projects.

There are certain limits on size and quality timing and quantity, but i find it quite useful as a basic service.
