Okay, this is an odd one that I'm sure has to do something with a setting I can not find.

When I try to choose anything with the pointer the selection is off and to the bottom right. for instance when i do a dimension it shows the dimension but it is offset down and to the right. you can clearly see the dimensions are correct but not to the center of circle and edge. also, this only effects new files. if I open an old file I don't experience this.

Not sure what you mean by this? I looked in the user work plane and the ones that don't have an issue have "DynWorkPlane" the ones that do have an issue say the same. does that help at all?

Perhaps posting your file and indicating what product/version/os you are seeing this on might help give us some more clues as to what is happening.

>>Are you using a User Work Plane?

Dimensions are placed in the current workplane. If your workplane is not the same as the circle it might be giving you unexpected results.

forgot about these ones.

Using Work Plane: if i'm using it I'm not sure.

in reference to the second question. the issue I'm experiencing happens with any tool lets say i tried to drawl a line from the center. it would still be offset with the selector.

Might be a Mac issue, works fine with Shark FX PC Build 1224.

Hi i am on am MAC too. If I have a file open, any file I open after that everything will be shifted. If i close all viacad windows and open up the "shifted" file, everything lines up. It just seems like you cant have two file open at once, which is annoying. I opened your file and the same thing happened. Looks fine if its the only thing opened.

It may be an issue fixed with Mac Retina screens. It looks like you have the first release. Can you update your build from the Help menu : Current Version command?

Hello Tim,
just in case someone comes across this thread:
Never had this issue than all of a sudden it appeared.
The issue only occurred when I had more than one file open. no issues with one file
Took your advice and did the "current version" command.
Now I have NO ISSUES! Thanks to all that helped!!!

super stoked
