Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?

I'm having some trouble trying to get the Gripper to be centered among the selected points as shown in the attached image.

I tried both "Center of Selected" and "User Positioned > Reset Axis".

Here, i just want to use the griper to transform the selected points not the whole thing. If I scale from its current location it won't be a symmetrical operation.

I'm sure I can simply find the center and reset the axis to that, but I thought maybe the gripper would automatically calculate the center point of the selected. Would be easier especially for irregular shaped selections that don't have a line of symmetry.

which build do you use? here with build 1195 gripper is automatically positioned at center of selected points

That started happening around build 1186, not sure which build fixed it but it is defiantly a build related issue.

Well I'm currently using build 1188, but I wasn't aware there is a new build. Do you know where can I download it from?

I suspect you have a polyline in the image where the gripper does not average the additional selected points.

We need to update the gripper logic to support multiple selects from a single polyline. Same for splines I believe.
