I upgraded to the latest iteration of ViaCAD Pro V9 Build 1186.

I make screenshots from various angles of my drawings so that my customer can approve them before I make the detail drawings. With this version of the software no screen shots are being developed. In previous versions I get the option to choose the location that I save the files. I save them to dropbox for convenience for my customers. Nothing shows up in my dropbox folder. I opened preview and used the 'from clipboard' command in case the screenshot was saved there. But nothing there. There are no screenshot options in the preferences for ViaCAdPro V9.

I am using a MacBook Pro 2013 with OS 10.10.5 Yosemite.

Thank you, Welshter

Hello Welshter

What command are you using to create screen shots? For example, I use

1. Edit : Copy BITMap (which copies the contents into mac paste buffer)
2. Launch Preview: New From ClipBoard

If you need dialog boxes and tool palettes, I use Command Shift 4.

Tim

I use the render to file function for quick customer approval images.

I typically use Command Shift F4 so I can select the portion of the drawing I need to email to my customer. Now, I don't get see any response at all within VisCAD Pro V9. I tried the Edit Copy BITMap then open Preview New From Clipboard. I get a little blank white square in the middle of the page. I can export as a pdf file. Where is the 'render to file' function?

Thank you, Welsher
