I'm New to ViaCad so I might be missing something here. I would like to be able to change the default line weight and color for different objects (curve, surface and solid) and not have it effect them all I'm thinking you could just add another drop down selection (Object Type?) to the pen when changing "default settings".

You do it by creating a custom style in the pen properties of the inspector pallet but you have to save the file as a startup.dat and place it in the Shark folder if you want to use the style again.

Oh I'm not talking about making custom pen styles. Though I see what your saying which is handy. I think the pen concept is awesome as you can change the line weights and colors on a whim. That is awesome. But I am asking to be able to set default line weights and colors for the individual object types without having to switch pen styles. Unless I am missing something. I'm new to ViaCad so I apologize in advance for some of my lack of knowledge.
