Please help.

I am using Shark LT v9. Whenever I change a color of an individual face to apply a different texture or texture direction in Keyshot, Keyshot does NOT recognize these new colors. It still only sees one single color for all faces so I can't properly do things like wood grain.

I've attached these to show what I've checked in the export box.

As you can see in the Keyshot image, I only dragged ONE material to one face and yet even though each face is clearly exported as a different color, the material applied itself to the entire solid.

This should now be updated in 1172. Attached image is a single solid with mutilple colors by face exported as an OBJ into another app.

Attached is an obj for you to confirm this also works with keyshot.

I imported a step file with single solid with many face colors and imported as an obj into keyshot.

I then changed the canopy to glass in keyshot.

Thanks a lot Tim! But could you please re-save the .obj file as version 3 in KS? I only have 3 unfortunately.

Also, approximately what would be the time frame until the 1172 update?

:)

I'll private email you a link to the 1172 beta today. If you can confirm this updates the issue that would be great.
