Is the instruction manual worth the it?

I'm fairly new to ViaCAD, having to buy the pro version after my Archicad trial ran out. I'm not unfamiliar with CAD programs and find ViaCAD Pro9 unfriendly for drafting houses. I wonder since I see a lot of issues with the program on this forum, if getting the manual is going to be any help. After working with it I can see how it would work well with small objects, but I find it clunky and full of bugs and not operator friendly. I'm hoping the manual would convey some information to make adjusting walls more expedient. I find that the wall tool is limited, once it's laid down a wall it makes some arbitrary decision that it's now a polygon and won't even allow me to type in a correction. I find the cursor placement very inaccurate, and can't trust that I'm truly inline with another object. I don't have any problem with the layering and the assigning of line and colors. But that is simple programming. I find the ability to pause and drag or expand the view unreliable. Sometimes it works, but most times once I pause to drag the view area the wall has frozen up. So I'm wondering if some of this is operator error. Does the manual really go into this stuff, or does it mostly concern 3D modeling?

If you've already tried the User Guide, you may want to try the 2D videos & tutorials. There is a tutorial video on walls. These are located under the help menu.
If you think you found a bug, providing step by steps to repeat would help further investigation. A video is also great, I can sometimes repeat by watching a video.
