I have unintentionally rotated my model out of position in all three axes.

How can I realign my model, or relocate the origin, to be correct for the
normal planes?

Hi Doug

I think you can do this with the translate and 3 Point rotation tools. Use the translate to position the origin. Then use the 3 point rotation tool twice to align two axis.

There is a downside to this, which can cause big problems when you keep on working on the part after changing the origin: When you do this with a unified solid, that if you would remove the unification (Concept Explorer->Features->remove Union), all separate solids will jump back to the place they were before they were unified, except for the solid that was selected for translation.

I would actually classify this behaviour as a bug, as I don't see the reason why someone would want this. Or is it intentional?
