Draw "deep" circles along a guide curve

Hallo,
I´m still evaluating the ViaCAD trial version and wanted to work through a hairdryer tutorial in this tutorial you draw a guide and place ellipses along this guide to create handle and nozzle. As a first step I want to stick to circles :-)
So lets say I want 5 circles along a guide that extends in the z/y-plane along the y-Axis. The one thing I can´t find out is, how to make this circles to be in a plane perpendicular to the guide. Of course I could rotate the view to a position perpendicular to the guide an then draw the circle but by doing so I would loose the possibility to precisely choose the position along the guide.
I hope I was able to clearly constitute clearly what my problem is. I really would appreciate any help.
kind regards
Timm

hi, choose the ellipse tool, move cursor over the line to get a "on" snap and hit the c key repeatedly. this changes workplane for the ellipse
