*STEPS TO REPRODUCE*
1. Have two documents open in ViaCad 9
2. In document 1, create a new layer (call it Layer2)
3. In the Concept Explorer, create one sublayer in (the already existing) Layer1 and one sublayer in Layer2.
4. Make sure that both layers are showing the sublayers in the Concept Explorer
5. Now switch to document 2 by clicking on the window (or optional on a Mac, press command-` to switch)
6. Now switch back to document 1 and observe the Concept Explorer

*OBSERVED BEHAVIOR*
Layer2 is closed, you can't see the sublayer. Only the Layer1 will be in the state you left it before switching, all other layers will be closed.

*EXPECTED BEHAVIOR*
All layers should still be in the state they were left behind.

hi, i would like to add another suggestion regarding layer control:

the very handy command "isolate layer" could be much more useful if it would store the current state of layer visibility. a separate command then could recall that state.
at the moment you can only "go back" with undo command, which is mostly useless because meanwhile no other operation could be done.

regards.

Something I like to add:

In some instances, when you have a few folders open, showing their contents, switching back and forth between the documents will actually open ALL folders. I haven't really looked in to this further, but just mentioning an additional weird behaviour.
