Hi

Over 1½ year ago I payed for VIACAD PRO, and NO update since, why? I don't want to pay more for some expanding package, just the native VIACAD PRO.

Please inform...

The same with a Shark FX v.9 and I suppose other products. Many bugs reported and no updates available. I don't understand the politics of company: They release many builds for beta software and how about clients?
P.S.
I've heard from the punch office in Poland that they gonna release the first update soon., but no details... so we must wait :-)

Same for ViaCad 2D/3D... Very, very frustrating. As I know there are new builds that actually fix major problems, but they don't release them to the public. Why not??? Does it cost them money? Don't they have time? It's commercial software, used for commercial purposes, yet they behave like it is shareware. Shareware is actually often better supported. On top of that, I see Tim talking about features for version 10, which means that when that is out, v9 is not being updated anymore. We are being expected to pay for bug fixes by upgrading to v10? Poorest delivery of bug fixes I have ever experienced in my life.

I've already got the update for Shark FX V.9 from the Punch office in Poland (they really support me unusually well), but I'm not sure is it general move and all Punch products will update soon? I hope you all get your updates quickly. One last word - I usually get updates from other companies (Adobe, Autodesk, Xara) approximately once a two weeks. So I suggest Punch! (excluding office in Poland) to do something with this, otherwise many of us buy Inventor or Solidworks next time - it costs much more, but they have a proper customer approach. Please Tim, think it over.

I guess we get what we pay for. Just saw Vectorworks cost $1795, so I think we are trapped.

Have a look at the Shark FX price, its not a Little. But to be fair: I really love to work in Shark. Its professional and very intuitive tool. If they only release updates much more often I will satisfied.

If I read the comments in this forum, I get the impression that the bugs are the same. After all, aren't they are all based on the same software, just with more features?

Maybe you're right. I decided to buy Shark Fx to have translation from SolidWorks and possibility to export into 3dPdf and it works well. Just one single bug to fix in a 3dPdf export. The rest of bugs I reported is connected with a basic features of software.
