It is having an effect on my copying and pasting of objects to a newly-assigned layer. - Menu, Copy - Menu, Paste vs - Menu, Copy/Ctrl+C - Ctrl+V I haven't/don't recall having tried right-click-paste When I copy a mesh and want paste it to a new layer, and I have the layer checked as the default layer, the mesh does not go to the checked layer if I use Ctrl+V. Is this the intended usage of Menu-Paste vs Ctrl+V?

Rank: Junior Member Joined: 4/7/2011(UTC) Posts: 10		Copy and paste is weird and in my opinion there is a bug. Set a new default layer, copy from a non-default layer and paste. What should happen is that the pasted copy should be in the default layer, not the source layer. There is no option in the Paste Options that rectifies this--everything pastes to the source layer. Can this be fixed? John
