Hi all,

I have been using v9 pro for a little over a month and I really like it, but I seem to be having some issues with grouped objects.

1) When importing or pasting from another model I seem to get duplicate copies of things (seems like the 1st copy stays even after I move it to a new location) I think this is related to groups but I am not 100%.

2) Strange issues with moving items when there are groups in the selection, things get out of alignment... especially 2d things like points (I use points to figure out where to put holes... I like to keep them around in case I need to do something else in that location (like putting a larger hole in the same location), referencing the center of an existing hole produces strange results... like referencing a point on the outer circle.

So far I am just learning to avoid groups... which is annoying since I miss components/groups from SketchUp. It could be that I don't know what I am doing, any workflow advice would be appreciated.

Now that I am mostly done with my project, I may try to duplicate the issues on video... could be I am just losing it after staring at the screen for hours at a time... just like my day job.
