Okay here is my question.

I'm trying to trace an image I found on line. When I try to Open a new file and select the image file i want to copy the image comes in black. only when i deselect "scale with View" and select "transpose background" can I see the image. But this will not allow me to scale the image to the known length. Can you help. I'm so close.

I'm not using ViaCAD pro.

this is the image I'm trying to copy and the correct length should be 1790mm.

Why not trace the pic as it was imported and just scale the trace when it's done?

hey Jason, good question. the image size is set and i can't zoom in on it do get to a good level of detail to follow the curve. I'm starting to wonder if its because i don't have "pro" when I zoom in all lines drown in CAD zoom in but the image stays the same size because "scale with view" is unselected.

basically it works fine if I have everything selected as far as zooming but I can't see the image its a Black Square.

I tried exactly like this video: http://www.csi-concepts....emo/videos/snowboard.mp4
and even tried to use the image he did: http://www.rei.com/learn...&avad=55963_f7f2708a

the image will not copy/paste at all into a viand drawling.

What OS and version of ViaCAD are you using? Did you import the pic from file - import or just copy and paste ?
