When I split a solid and use the "add solid" command I end up with 3 parts. I found it on my fairly complex parts and confirmed it on a rectangular extruded solid. Is this a bug or a new feature? I don't think this is a bug but rather a setting that is backwards. If you look at the add solid command under the inspector-> data you can see if the hide parents is active. This is a new feature where you can go back and unhide the originals for whatever reason. In your case the two pieces.

I see! Thanks for the help. So the default is set to show parents. I assume I can see my personal default to hide them, correct?
