Hi, have just started using ViaCad 2D/3D v9 (Mac) after teaching my self to use Qcad. Am much preferring ViaCad, however am coming across a problem with trying to print when I have a fill.

Eg. I draw a rectangle, select solid fill pattern, and colour white. This displays fine on my screen, however when I try to print, whether that be actually printing, or printing to PDF, the fill is turned to solid black. This only happens when the selected fill colour is white. Any other colour will print correctly (including black).

This is a vital feature as I need to print drawings of fence panels etc. for my welder to manufacture, and really need to be able to print the fill as white.

Any help will be much appreciated!

Thanks.

Hi Chip,

You could try changing the fill to a slight off white vs pure white. Ex color is 247,247,247. In the fill color drop down pick more.. and then pick a off white to try to print with.

Regards
Jason

I corrected this in build 1138. Until then, Jason's suggestion will work around using a filled white.
