I just purchased an update from ViaCAD pro 6 to ViaCAD pro 7 and I installed the new software and got my authorization number and everything worked just fine while I was using it, the problem is when I exit the program and try to reload it later. It changes the serial number and I must register again in order to get a new authorization number for the new serial number to work. Surely I'm not going to have to do this every time I want to load up ViaCAD pro7? Thanks in advance for any help.

PS
I'm running windows 7 home premium

I may be remembering wrong, but I think this was a problem when you didn't install as the administrator under Windows. I might be thinking of a problem under Vista... I'm a Mac user normally, but I do deal with some Windows machines. If you right click on the installer then you should get an menu option to "Run as Administrator". Try that and see if it makes a difference.

I finally had to get technical support to show me how to get it right. All is well now.
