I would like to split the curves in the attached picture with the blue surface, or sometimes with the surface of a solid.
Can anyone please tell me if, or how this can be done with the tools in ViaCAD?

I don't think you can cut through a curve with a surface. You can close the curve with a line in your case and make a surface from a closed profile and duplicate the new surface in an array. After that, then you can do intersect surfaces with a plane or with your current drawn surface to get the intersection of two surfaces thus given you a cut profile.

There's also the curve/surface intersect tool which would give you points to where the curve intersects with the surface.
