You can close the curve with a line in your case and make a surface from a closed profile and duplicate the new surface in an array. After that, then you can do intersect surfaces with a plane or with your current drawn surface to get the intersection of two surfaces thus given you a cut profile. There's also the curve/surface intersect tool which would give you points to where the curve intersects with the surface.
