Hi Tim & Team,

I just received my shiny new SpaceNavigator input device.
After installing the driver, I started up SharkFX 7, created a cube, and began to utilize the SpaceNavigator, instead of the mouse.
I find the navigation a bit inconsistent, maybe its my newness?
It seems like the center of a selected object or feature is the center for the rotation and other navigation.
When no object or feature is selected it is the center of the object that is the basis of navigation still.
Is there a way to make the triad or 0,0,0 point the basis for navigation when nothing is selected?

Thanks!

Tem

On my Mac, in build 997, if there are no other objects then my Space Navigator behaves as you describe. If there are other objects, then with none selected, the centre of rotation seems to be the "c of g" of the various objects.

A workaround to get rotation at the origin would be to place a small object there, and select it to cause the Space Navigator to use that as the centre of rotation.
