As the header says, ViaCAD sometimes won't quit if several windows are open, and if all windows are saved. And the menu bar not returning bug is still there, if quitting from more than two windows open. You must open up a new empty window to get the menu bar back. I was hoping all this would have been fixed by v8. Obviously not.

I've noticed the same. It's happened a few times to me and fortunately, I haven't lost anything because of this particular bug... yet. Usually requires a force quit and then re-open.

Yep. But force quitting undoes preferences, so you have to set up all over again.

Tim? It's been a bug for years!

If anyone has repeatable steps that would be very helpful. Below are my steps which does not trigger the issue.

Tim, it seems to happen to me if I have more than two windows open at one time. I've got plenty of memory (8 gigs- Kingston). That doesn't seem to be the problem. Only once has ViaCAD quit and closed successfully. But I couldn't get that instance to repeat.
