ProE import under OSX - MacIntel - no longer effective (#31)

Hi to all, I have been using the Version 4 of CU on my old G4 (2x1.25Mhz-2Go-OSX10.4) Mac with success to importing ProE data. Since I have now installed this CU 4 on my brand new MacIntel (2x2.66Mhz-4Go-Nvidia7300GT 256Mo-OSX 10.4) I do no longer can import the same ProE data as on my G4...bad! :( Nothing happends while importing, no error windows or what else...just a log file created. Any idea where it can come from? Nvidia drivers? Too much memory? What means "Error 16777232" shown on the ProEread.log file? Any comments are appreciated. Guillaume

We've reported the problem to Spatial (providers of the proe translator) and waiting for a service pack correction. I suspect their de-encryption alrogithm is not savy for Intel on Mac. If you do a get File Info, and set the Open with Rosetta option, it will read the proe file in. But be sure to reset the rosetta flag as you will lose performance with this option. Tim Olson Punch! I have tested the Rosetta solution. As the activation windows pops up and that soft activation didn't work (I just wonder why?), I would only have the choice to use CU under demo mode... So, I wait for the solution being found to continue. Thanks for support.

If the registration dialog displays, that means you are using a trial serial number. Hit the activate button to enable all features in trial mode. If you hit the demo button, you will not be able to save.

Just ran into the same problem. Running 660 full version, licensed, registered etc. Will not import a ProE file on an intel mac so tried to launch CU using Rossetta. Launch CU and it gives me the registration box (like first run, with everything filled in). Click the Activate button and the dialog flashes and will not launch CU further. Any information from Spatial when they might get the Intel version of the ProE importer working again ?

Asking again, since I *really* had some need for Pro/E import: when will we get this fixed? It's broken for quite some time now... and I don't want to buy an extra Pro/E converter for my IronCad license, just because CU doesn't get it's fixes done...
Thanks for any entlightenment :-)

I have several CU V4 SP4 beta testers confirm this is fixed in R17. Private email me and I will send you a link to the candidate release.
