Hi all

New to using ViaCAD 8 pro, does anyone have any tips for rendering jeweller?
Just trying to render some solid silver pieces , no stones at the stage,
All I can get is a very plastics looking silver.

Well ...

After googling and thinking i would say it is all about reflection and lighting ...

Try to add some interesting background to reflect.
Maybe putting them on glass plate would add some reflection ?

In real life, they would be probably in a small opened "chest" with some "textile" or "plastic" inner walls.
Or they would be on some sort of cushion ...
Or maybe lay on a shirt or a jacket ...
Perhaps somewhere is also a price tag (or a tag stating the artist and the model type or whatever ...).

You know, rendering is like presentation and then taking a picture with a
camera from the scene present so make it look more interesting ...
