Hi everybody!

I just acquired ViaCAD 2d/3d V8 from the Appstore, and so far the program just right for my needs. BUT... there this problem with tangent edges (or silhouette edges) in the drawings, generated with the Model To Sheet function using "Polylines". Since I have a lot of cylindrical shapes in my assembly, not much is left of the drawing. Despite a lot of very good features, I'm not coming any further if I cannot show tangent edges in my drawings.

I noticed some discussions going on in the forum concerning the silhouette edge tool. I'm not sure if the same problem applies to my problem. However, if I change my drawing view to "Phong with Edges", tangent edges are shown correctly.

Does anyone know more about this issue?, or knows a workaround so I can produce decent drawings?

I think I'm repeating this but if you can post a small file I will confirm this is now fixed in build 1000.
