This is an area that is annoying, certainly as to how they work in VC. As we have seen from various posts, dependencies are left to deleted objects. There as still been no response to that subject. Now when I delete an object together with ALL its dependencies, it should just delete them, why is there a warning?? Example. I create "Along curve text", I then select the text AND the curve, then delete. I am given a popup warning "Object to delete has Dependencies".

Just this AM, I selected for deletion surfaces that depended upon lines, but i got a warning to that effect, that the surfaces had a dependent relation. It asked me if i wanted to delete/remove the dependency and then delete/remove the objects. I selected for deletion a surface that had a solid dependent upon it, and i got a warning for that. More often than not, i get the expected dependency warning. So far (luckily) in my insanely large (?) models, i haven't noticed anything missing that i was SURE i had NOT deleted. That got me to wondering whether the history tree lost track of a few things.
