Hello,

I am currently looking at Shark(PC), from the options for "trimming solid" it is possible to use a spline and make trim "perp to view", which is very convenient/helpful.
Is there any way to have the same option for "splitting"? as currently there is a need to construct a surface even if that surface is "perp to veiw",.. or,... could it be possible to have the trim~"perp to view" keep all parts (not delete one side?)

Maybe I should of posted to the requests thread, but I may of missed an option somewhere?

Regards,
- Steve

Not currently, but a good idea.

Hi Tim,

Thanks for the reply,.. at least I had not missed a possible option on that.

I do like the splitting ability ""perp to view"" certainly as it is not restricted to planer views only. But the ability to split in a similar way would also be very helpful.
Maybe adding an option to the trim and "keep all" would be an easier direction? As a flipping between which part should be removed could include a "null" where non is removed?

Regards,

- Steve
