Noobe here. I have viaCAD Pro v8 and can't figure out how to create a .mov file. I take that back, I CAN create the file, but there's just nothing on it. It just saves tiny files, starts the player, then nothing. :o

You might be thinking of the QuickTime VR export. The manual doesn't describe it but it's Render to File and select mov QuickTime VR Panoramic movie.

I don't think the latest QuickTime Player knows how to open such files; QuickTime Player 7 can.

I haven't experimented with it enough to get good image but if done right you should be able to pan around the object in 3D and zoom in and out.
