I am having trouble with the export functionality. When i have a drawing to share / export, i click to export to DWG and when i open the file in a DWG viewer, the walls are missing. It shows the measurements but no walls...? Also, when i save to jpeg or print to pdf, a document is saved, but it is a blank document.... What am i doing wrong?

Hello Richard Find the viacad file on your disk and right click over the name/icon and select the "Compress" option. Then attach it to an email and send to me. Thanks! Tim

Hi Tim
Here is a drawing i have created this morning.
I have managed to create the doors etc, which i was having problems with.
I need to export it as a DWG and a pdf if possible but I'm struggling to do it

>>I need to export it as a DWG and a pdf if possible but I'm struggling to do it To export the PDF --read file into viacad --select File:Page Layout --select Fit to Area I think the problem was the drawing was outside the printable area. The above should fix that. >>as a DWG Repeats here, checking into. For a work around until I get a fix out ---save your file as the next step changes the object type --explode your walls into lines ---- (select Mask :Walls, this will select just walls) --Edit:Change Object Type ->Lines Tim
