I think I'm right is saying that Concepts upgraded to Shark

ViaCAD was a new range and has a different toolset

There are quite a few tools available in Shark that are not in ViaCAD

I don't know but you could call them - they used to do a really fair upgrade / cross-grade. They're usually pleased to help with these things. Where are you ?

Perhaps someone else here knows ?

Viewball is still there, it's just been renamed to Navigator under Window in the Short Cuts section.

Brilliant find - I'm not sure Tim meant that to be there still - so we better keep quiet : )

If this is true the i feel like i've drawn a short straw here, as far as i know concepts 3d became viacad pro they seem to have the same toolset, i remember checking this, i only ever remember being offered upgrades to either viacad or shark FX which is probably overkill for what i need.

Last time i looked Shark LT sits at the same price point as Concepts 3d did, i was never offerd an upgrade to LT, so my 499usd investment has become a 250 one, there needs to be some clarity here.

Six different products does seem a tad overkill

ViewBall/Navigator used to be much easier to find and activate. It seems my shortcut stopped working and I stopped caring because it was something i jsut had had to bury in the deep recessess of my forgetfullness.

Yes, I suspect it's not supposed to be there at all in ViaCAD !

Tim - can you put it in properly .. or take it out properly !

Not sure why, but my Viewball/Navigator is working fine, hehehehe...

And, I assigned it Shift+O to toggle it on and off. Maybe it IS supposed to be there, but it is just not being rivetingly spot-lit like the Gripper?
