It has various display problems, e.g. if the grid is set visible and the selection tool is active, the pointer leaves a gray mouse trail after it everywhere and when stretching solid objects they often become invisible in the middle of the operation and appear again only when it's completed or canceled.

I'm running it in Windows 7 compatibility mode (which apparently became set automagically when I upgraded Windows) but with no other settings. Anybody know the exact compatibility setting combo that should make it work right?

All the drivers were up to date including OpenGL which was by the graphics card provider. I'm now trying without any compatibility mode and so far it's working ok.
