Is there a backup file? I can't find any backups (yes, it's enabled) using search " filename.bk0. " nothing found on computer at all.

Mine are in 'Documents/Punch!' folder

Not sure if this has been moved for the appstore version !?

Not in Documents, no ... encore.. folder.

I'm thinking it doesn't exist.

ViaCad V.8 put the backups and symbols folders in ~/Documents/Punch! but the SP1 beta put them in ~/Library/Application Support/com.encore.viacad3dv8

Found it for Shark LT8. mac

I think it is just a typo in software for saving destination..

It's actually located at HD/users/(user)/Library/Application Support/Backup

~/Library/ folder is hidden o Lion, to activate click on alt key while select "go" on the main menu on finder to see it, or simply cop and paste this path "~/Library/Application Support into "go to folder" in the same menu, you have activate "autosave" option on filling in the preferences panes to create the backups, i think
