I suppose you've also heard the marketing BS about SW's million seat sales. I don't believe a word of it (despite having fallen for the SW's sheet metal hype ;) )

I'm also convinced that SW's has a secret Mac build too. All that money and team of programmers :mad:

Also Paul, if you dig freeware FEA, there's also GMSH.

I've also used ANSYS, if that's any help? (recommended!)

It's more CFD im looking at than FEA... :D

This is FREE but a steep learning curve...

CFDesign looks about the most intuitive and for people like me who dont have the time for such a steep climb to drive it and to get meaningful results & fast!!

Paul, both ANSYS and COMSOL do flow analysis, but you may have to remorgage your house to afford them.
