Hi,

I'm trying to use the colour blend shader class with two wrapped images but can't select the secondary file name. The Value drop down is inactive and there's an "UNKNOWN String" message displayed in the Render Material Settings window :

Anyone knows how to use this?

Thanks in advance,
Nicolas

Hello Nicolas,
You are a very courageous man to get into that palette.
If you are young enough and fan of Harry Potter, you may get something out of it one day, with magic spells...
Let us know, please;)

Hi jlm,

thanks for your support :). In fact, although this palette might appear a bit cryptic at first sight, it's quite easy to get interesting results with it, if you're interested in rendering (btw. not my first interest in CAD, but funny). Regarding my initial post, I have submitted a bug report. Will see what happens.

Have a great night,
Nicolas

For some years, I forgot the render engine from Shark. Not intuitive, not fast, not enough good!! I don't know what is happen, but some months ago, Tim asked users for an idea for a new add-on render engine. One of the winner was KeyShot.

Jean-Franois,

as far as Viacad Pro is concerned, you can use the usual link. It has been updated to point to 1107 (waiting for 1108...). I haven't tried Shark FX.

Regards,
Nicolas
