why can I open the same file twice ?

this is just not right .. I lost a bunch of stuff .. entirely

Look at what photoshop does .. and please amend asap !!!

This is one of those bugs that just never gets resolved. How many times does it have to be pointed out before it is corrected ?

Shouldn't we just start a thread that lists the most annoying, longstanding, obstrusive, recurring, (please fill in attribute) bugs?
Or even better shouldn't Punch look into a user frienly bug tracking system?

This one (the "open the same file multiple times bug") would fit in nicely with "greyed out copy/paste bug", "transformed parts won't render bug", "variable fillets on looped edges gives random results bug" and so many others.
I understand that some of theses bugs might not be easy to resolve, or related to ACIS or other third party developer or whatever - just let us know!
I find it just rather tiresome to post these bugs over and over again.

It is not about getting polemic (I still think CU is a great software).
It's just my conviction that a proper bug tracking system would be beneficial for both users and developers.
