Anyone used a USB -> parallel converter ? (#234)

Does anyone happen to know if a USB -> Parallel converter can be used to drive a printer of router using windows under 'boot camp' ?

Cheers Larry .. I'm getting some awesome tips here. I'll send them an email ! ShopBot .. a US table I'm interested in .. runs from USB .. so this wouldn't be an issue. All others (apart from Roland) seem to still run on the parallel port ! Anyone know anybody with a ShopBot ?
